Ear piercing correction & earlobe correction

Scars tell stories of surgeries, minor accidents, or past skin problems like acne. They can impair the appearance, especially on the face or other visible parts of the body, and be a burden for those affected.

But not every scar has to remain visible. At DERM ART, we offer a variety of methods, including state-of-the-art laser therapies, for scar treatment. Our goal is not only to heal your skin but also to restore its radiance.

What Is an Earlobe Repair / Piercing Hole Correction?

An earlobe repair is a minor surgical procedure in which damaged or stretched earlobe tissue is removed, reshaped, and carefully sutured. The goal is a harmonious, symmetrical earlobe with the most discreet scar possible.

The procedure is performed:

  • On one or both sides, depending on the findings

  • On an outpatient basis

  • Under local anesthesia

  • Minimally invasive

  • With a short treatment time (approx. 60 minutes)

After complete healing, a new piercing can be placed if desired—of course, not through the scar tissue.

Cost of Earlobe Repair in Switzerland – DERM ART

The cost of an earlobe repair at DERM ART is CHF 1,000.– for both sides and depends on the individual findings and treatment complexity. Factors include whether the correction is unilateral or bilateral, the extent of stretching or tearing of the piercing hole, and whether previous ear tunnels (plugs) are present.

At DERM ART, every earlobe repair is individually planned and performed on an outpatient basis. In most cases, this is considered an aesthetic procedure, which is why health insurance generally does not cover the costs.

You will receive a binding cost estimate following a personal medical consultation with us.
