PRP Facial

PRP facial treatment—often referred to as Vampire Lifting, plasma lifting, or autologous blood therapy—is a modern, minimally invasive method for natural skin rejuvenation.

Your own blood is processed to obtain a highly concentrated, platelet-rich plasma (PRP = Platelet-Rich Plasma). This plasma contains valuable growth factors that stimulate skin regeneration, boost collagen production, and visibly strengthen the tissue.

Unlike fillers or synthetic substances, PRP relies entirely on the body’s own components. This makes the treatment particularly well tolerated and delivers very natural results—ideal for anyone looking to firm, smooth, and revitalize their skin without surgical intervention.

At DERM ART in Winterthur, conveniently accessible for patients from Zurich as well, we rely on experience, quality, and state-of-the-art technology for your PRP treatment.

PRP hair treatment process: From consultation to plasma injection

PRP treatment is a modern and effective treatment for hair loss that uses the body's own blood plasma to stimulate hair growth. It involves several precisely coordinated steps – from preparation to aftercare.

Consultation: Individual analysis and therapy planning

In the second step, a small amount of your own blood is taken. This blood contains important components such as platelets and growth factors, which are to be activated by the treatment. The blood is then immediately processed in a special centrifuge to isolate the so-called platelet-rich plasma (PRP). This concentrated plasma forms the core of the PRP treatment.

In the second step, a small amount of your own blood is taken. Once the PRP has been extracted, we inject it precisely into the affected areas of your scalp using fine needles. This injection is virtually painless and performed on an outpatient basis. The plasma acts directly on the hair follicles, stimulating cell renewal and supplying the hair roots with important growth factors. The goal is to promote regeneration, slow hair loss, and support long-term new hair growth.
